Modernism From Your Screen

Not everyone can walk the neighborhoods. Everyone can explore the architecture.

Mid Tex Mod's digital tours bring Central Texas mid-century modern buildings to your screen through high-quality photography, video walkthroughs, architectural drawings, and narrated commentary by preservation professionals and architectural historians.

What makes digital tours different from a photo gallery. Each digital tour is structured as a guided experience. You do not just see the building — you learn to read it. Our narration explains the design decisions behind the roof form, the material palette, the site plan, and the interior spatial organization.

Classroom and community group resource. Educators and community organizations use our digital tours as teaching tools. Architecture students, historic preservation classes, lifelong learning groups, and civic organizations have incorporated our tours into their programming.

Access and interior views. Some of our most valuable digital tours feature buildings that are not accessible to the public at all — private residences, restricted-access institutional buildings, and structures that have been sensitively renovated with interiors worth documenting.
